World Record Acrobat
Splitz was born on August 13, 2001, and grew up in Handstand, Acrobaticland, a place known for cartwheels, flips, and extremely flexible people. Nobody knows his real name because he legally changed it to Splitz once he became famous. He is known for doing one single split for 82 years, a feat that has never been repeated and has raised many questions. Splitz is instantly recognizable because he is always, without exception, in a split.
As a teenager, Splitz attended an acrobatics class where everything changed. During practice, he performed a perfect split, but when class ended, he discovered he could not stand back up. Teachers waited. Parents waited. Gravity waited. Nothing happened. From that day on, Splitz remained permanently in a split. To get around as a kid, he slid across the ground, developing impressive upper-body strength and excellent floor awareness.
Later in life, Splitz adapted to adulthood while remaining in the same position. At work, a crane was used to lift food to his mouth and lower him into meetings. Chairs were no longer an option. Despite this, Splitz maintained a job, attended events, and became a well-known figure. He also officially became recognized as a World Record Holder for being in a split longer than anyone else in history, continuing the same split without breaks, pauses, or standing up—even once (82 years!). He is currently 95 years old!
Splitz has contributed to society through demonstration and determination. He has taught people how to do splits simply by existing near them. He also created a gymnastics program that raises money to help support him as he continues living in his condition. Many students say watching Splitz has motivated them to stretch responsibly—or not at all.
