Tiniest Person on Mars
Miles Speck was born on April 12, 2011, and grew up on Mars, a planet that already has very few people—mostly scientists and astronauts living on a Mars base. He is famous for holding the World Record for the Tiniest Man on Mars, which is impressive considering how empty Mars already is. Miles is only 0.001 feet tall, making him extremely hard to see. That is just over three-tenths of a millimeter tall — about the thickness of a few sheets of paper stacked together.
Miles Speck was born on Mars on April 12, 2011, and was very tiny from the very beginning. As a child, he lived among scientists who often mistook him for red dust, a loose screw, or something that fell off a rover. Growing up on Mars was quiet, and being so small made it even quieter.
In his later years, Miles Speck continued living on Mars and remained extremely tiny. He mostly stayed in safe containers so astronauts wouldn’t accidentally vacuum him up or step on him. Very little changed, mostly because being tiny makes it hard to do big things.
Miles Speck made no official contributions to science, mostly because he was too small to reach anything. However, scientists say he helped by reminding everyone to watch where they step and to respect all sizes of life, even the tiniest ones.
