Vinny “Hockeyman” Verrone is a tall hockey fanatic with a blonde mullet, blue eyes, and a Bulldogs hockey jersey that he seems to wear like it’s formal clothing. He’s usually seen in hockey skates, standing on the ice inside a rink because that’s where he feels most “normal.” Vinny is famous for one thing above all else: hockey, duh—and for a career record of 20,000 goals.
Vinny’s hockey obsession started immediately. He was born on July 14th, 1994, and was reportedly born wearing hockey skates. Instead of a normal pacifier, his dad gave him a hockey puck to suck on. While other babies learned to crawl, Vinny basically learned to glide. People say he didn’t really “grow up”—he just leveled up into a bigger hockey person.
In college, Vinny earned the nickname “Hockeyman” because hockey was the only thing he thought about and talked about. He even failed some classes because he would crumple up his notes and take slapshots with them, shooting paper-wads into the garbage bin like it was the Stanley Cup Finals. Eventually, he became a truly famous hockey player and set a mind-blowing record by scoring 20,000 goals in his career.
Vinny donates to charities… but with one condition: they have to be hockey-based charities. If it doesn’t involve ice, skates, sticks, or pucks, he’s not interested. Still, his support has helped a lot of young players get equipment, join teams, and have chances they wouldn’t otherwise have.
