Timberfin
Timberfin
The Timberfin is an enormous, fish-like creature that lives on land instead of in water. It can grow up to 45 feet long, making it one of the largest known forest animals. Its body is long and smooth like a fish, with large fin-like structures along its sides, but its size and strength make it capable of moving through dense forests. Its skin has a slightly shiny, scaled texture, often blending in with the shadows and mossy greens of the forest, helping it stay hidden despite its massive size.
The Timberfin was discovered by a boy named Oliver, who was exploring a forest when he noticed something unusual moving between the trees. At first, he thought it was a giant fish somehow lost on land, but when it turned and stood tall among the trees, he realized it was something completely new. The creature moved both slowly and suddenly with bursts of speed, disappearing deeper into the forest before anyone else could see it. Oliver reported the sighting, and after further investigation, the creature was officially named the Timberfin.
Timberfins live deep within forest environments, especially in areas with thick trees and plenty of shade. They are most often found in quiet, remote forests where they can move freely without being seen. Even though they resemble fish, they do not live in water and instead thrive among trees, fallen logs, and dense undergrowth. Their size allows them to move over obstacles easily, and they often rest standing still among the trees, blending into the environment.
The Timberfin is a carnivore. It primarily feeds on wolf fish and other animals it can catch within the forest. Despite its size, it is a patient hunter, sometimes remaining completely still before quickly striking its prey. Its diet includes various types of meat, making it one of the top predators in its habitat.
The Timberfin has a unique movement style. It can move slowly and quietly when needed, almost gliding through the forest. However, it is also capable of sudden bursts of speed, surprising both prey and observers. Its fin-like limbs help it balance and push through thick forest terrain, allowing it to travel both carefully and quickly depending on the situation.
Timberfins can grow up to 45 feet long, and can be tall, towering over smaller animals.
Even though it looks like a fish, it does not live in water at all.
It can move both very slowly and extremely fast, depending on whether it is hunting or hiding.
Many people mistake it for a giant fish at first, but it is actually a forest-dwelling creature.
