Polarchair
The Polar Chair is an extraordinary animal that is literally just a polar bear mixed with a chair. It has thick, bright white fur like a real polar bear, helping it blend perfectly into the snow and ice. From the front, it looks very much like a normal polar bear — large, powerful, and furry. But from the back, its body is shaped like the seat and backrest of a sturdy chair, as if a piece of furniture had been fused to a living bear. Its legs, paws, and head are all polar bear, while its middle and back have a firm, chair-like structure beneath the fur.
The Polar Chair was discovered by young inventor Angie Cleverton when she visited the Arctic. While camping, she saw a polar bear raiding a tent, which was already surprising. As she looked closer, she noticed that part of the polar bear’s body was sticking out on one side of the tent — but on the other side of the tent, a chair was sticking out as well.
At first, Angie thought there was both a bear and a chair inside. Then she realized something incredible: they were connected. The “chair” was actually part of the same animal. This shocking observation led to the official discovery of the Polar Chair.
Polar Chairs live in the Arctic, where it is extremely cold and snowy. They are most often found in three places:
Inside tents that they have scared campers or researchers out of,
Snow dens that they dig or claim as homes, and
Snowy mountain peaks, where they can look out over the icy landscape.
They seem to enjoy taking over human tents, almost as if they like the shelter — or the supplies inside.
The Polar Chair is a carnivore that eats:
Seals, like a normal polar bear,
Fish, which it catches in icy water, and
Paper and writing materials left behind by researchers.
Scientists believe it might eat paper and notebooks so it is harder for humans to study and discover more about it, which is both clever and suspicious.
The Polar Chair moves like a polar bear on land, walking slowly but powerfully through deep snow. It can also swim well in icy water when hunting fish or seals. Because of its chair-like body, it is not especially fast, but it is very strong and steady.
It is half polar bear and half chair.
Its fur is as white as snow for perfect camouflage.
It likes to take over tents and scare people out of them.
It eats researchers’ paper and writing materials — possibly to avoid being discovered.
The Polar Chair that Angie found goes to “Snow School for Work.”
It is friends with a seal, even though it eats seals — perhaps because it is “keeping its food close” until it is hungry enough.
It can be found in snow dens and on snowy mountain peaks.
