Special Features

The Ducko is a loud and energetic duck that looks mostly like a regular duck, but with one very important difference — instead of saying “quack,” it loudly shouts “QUACKO!!!!!” every time it makes a sound. Its voice echoes through its cave home and can be heard from far away. Duckos also have a slightly bouncy body, which helps them jump much higher than normal ducks. They are believed to be closely related to rubber ducks, which may explain their unusual behavior and sound.

Discovery

The Ducko was studied by scientist Angie Cleverton, who discovered a hidden place now known as Duckoland. While exploring, she noticed a cave labeled “HOME OF DUCKO,” and every house in the area had a similar sign.

During her visit, Angie saw a bully wearing a shirt that said “DUCKOS ARE THE WORST!” This bully had opened a shop that gave out free seeds but also sold fried Duckos, which shocked her. Angie took action and put the bully in jail for many years to protect the Duckos.

Even today, the shop still exists, but it only uses Duckos that have already passed away naturally. It has even added a new menu item called “chicken suspenders” (similar to chicken tenders, but named after Ducko suspenders).

Habitat

Duckos live in Duckoland, a special area made up of caves and small homes. Each home is clearly marked, often with signs like “HOME OF DUCKO.” The caves provide safety and shelter, and Duckos often gather together in these areas.

What It Eats

Duckos have a very unusual and somewhat confusing diet. Their favorite food is pancakes, and they will eat them at any time of day. Some Duckos have been seen stacking pancakes before eating them all at once. Scientists are not sure why Duckos love pancakes so much, but it is believed they are attracted to the warmth and smell.

Duckos also eat wagaboozle seeds, which are bright, colorful seeds found only in Duckoland. These seeds come in many colors and are thought to give Duckos energy, especially for their high jumping. Some researchers think the wagaboozle seeds may be the reason Duckos are able to jump so high.

How It Moves

Duckos can jump very high and flap their wings, but they are not able to fly. Instead, they rely on their strong legs to bounce around. They are also good swimmers and can move through water like normal ducks.
