Discovery
The Deakly was discovered by a young girl named Nora while exploring near the Atlantic Ocean in the eastern United States. While walking along the shoreline, Nora noticed strange tracks that looked like duck footprints, but with deep marks as if something heavy with horns had passed by.
Following the tracks, she saw a creature crawling out of the water. At first, she thought it was a duck, but then it lifted its head, revealing large goat-like horns. As it moved, its platypus-like tail swayed behind it.
Nora watched as the creature slipped back into the ocean and disappeared beneath the surface without coming up for air, leading to the discovery of the Deakly.
Habitat
Deaklies live near the ocean coasts of the United States, where they can easily move between land and water. They often stay close to shorelines, rocky coasts, and shallow waters.
Although they are underwater animals, they also spend time on land, crawling along beaches or resting in hidden areas near the water. Their ability to breathe underwater allows them to escape danger quickly.
