Pyrovine Crocoserpent
The Pyrovine Crocoserpent is a terrifying hybrid animal made from a Pyrosnake and a Crocovine. It has a long, snake-like body covered in burning flames, but its head and jaws resemble a crocodile, lined with sharp teeth. Along its body grow thick, twisting vine-like tendrils that can burst out from between its scales. These vines are fire-resistant and often glow red-hot at the tips. The combination of fire, vines, and powerful jaws makes this animal extremely dangerous.
The Pyrovine Crocoserpent was discovered when Jackson, the same 7-year-old who originally discovered the Crocovine, returned to the swampy area where he had seen vines moving on their own before. Jackson noticed that the land looked different—trees were scorched, the ground was warm, and the vines were blackened and smoking.
As he stepped closer, a massive, flaming creature slithered through the area. Unlike the Crocovine, this animal was on fire, with glowing eyes and burning vines twisting around its body. Jackson froze, stared at the creature, and quietly whispered to himself, “Not again.”
The creature used its vines to pull debris aside and disappeared into the burning forest. The charred vines, melted plants, and deep drag marks left behind confirmed that this was a new and even more dangerous animal, now known as the Pyrovine Crocoserpent.
Pyrovine Crocoserpents live in burning forests, volcanic jungles, and overgrown lava fields. They prefer hot environments where plants grow thick and fire can spread easily. These habitats allow them to use both their flames and vines to hunt and hide.
Pyrovine Crocoserpents eat large animals, including deer, reptiles, birds, and anything unlucky enough to get caught in their vines. They use their vines to trap prey, their fire to weaken it, and their crocodile jaws to finish the hunt. This makes them carnivores.
Pyrovine Crocoserpents move by slithering like a snake, but they can also lunge forward using their vines to pull themselves quickly. When angry or hunting, they move much faster, leaving burning trails behind them. Their vines help them climb trees or drag themselves across rough terrain.
It is part fire snake and part vine-shooting crocodile.
Its vines do not burn, even though its body is on fire.
It prefers very hot places.
Its bite is as strong as a crocodile’s.
Forests are often destroyed after it passes through.
Its eyes glow brighter when it hunts.
Water does not easily put out its flames.
Scientists recommend staying very far away.
