Jellyphant
Jellyphant
The Jellyphant is a large, semi-transparent creature that looks like a cross between an elephant and a jellyfish. Its body pulses softly and glows with bioluminescent spots, while its trunk waves like a jelly-like ribbon.
Jellyphants float through humid skies, especially above rainforest canopies during thunderstorms. They gather in the upper layers of storm clouds, gently bobbing on the wind.
Jellyphants absorb energy directly from lightning strikes and occasionally sip stormwater collected in cloud puddles.
Jellyphants float along electric air currents and use gentle pulsing motions to steer, much like a jellyfish in water.
The color of a Jellyphant’s glow changes with the weather.
Green means a thunderstorm is coming, while purple predicts a double rainbow!
