Huffalope
Huffalope
The Huffalope has the sturdy frame of a buffalo combined with the elegant, spiraling horns of an antelope. It’s covered in fluffy fur, and it has an unusually large nose perfect for dramatic sneezes.
Huffalopes roam the open plains and sneezy savannahs, where tall grasses constantly tickle their nostrils.
Their diet includes sneezeweed, puffgrass, and the spicy leaves of the sneeze-inducing spicebush.
They gallop in short, powerful bursts, but often stop suddenly to sneeze, sometimes propelling themselves backward several feet.
Huffalope sneezes are famous for launching confetti into the air at celebrations. No magical party is complete without a Huffalope sneeze to kick things off!
The huffalope is the official animal of the state of Sassachussetts.
