Crabacorn
Crabacorn
The Crabacorn is a powerful ocean animal with bright orange skin and an unusual unicorn-like appearance. Its body is shaped like a crab, but rising from its head is a single sturdy horn that makes it easy to recognize. The most impressive feature of the Crabacorn is its very large pinchers, which are strong enough to crack shells and grab slippery food. Its tough outer shell helps protect it from predators in the ocean.
The Crabacorn was discovered by Kate while observing ocean life near the water. She noticed an orange creature moving along the sea floor and at first thought it was just a normal crab. When it turned, she saw a horn sticking out from its head and watched as it raised its giant pinchers. The animal swam away quickly, disappearing into the water. This clear sighting led to Kate's drawing, and the official discovery of the animal now known as the Crabacorn.
Crabacorns live in the ocean, especially near rocks, reefs, and sea plants. They prefer areas where they can hide between stones or seaweed while still having space to swim. The ocean provides plenty of food and protection for them.
Crabacorns eat fish and seaweed, making them omnivores. They use their big pinchers to catch fish and tear seaweed from rocks. This diet helps them stay strong and active.
Crabacorns can swim through the water using quick leg movements and strong pinches to push themselves forward. They can also crawl along the ocean floor when moving slowly or searching for food.
