The Wind Breaker
"Blow Once. Fly Away."
The Wind Breaker is a powerful flying machine that looks like a tall, curved wind tunnel with a wide, flexible sail-like screen attached to the front. To fly, you stand on a small platform, face the machine, and blow into a built-in mouthpiece.
When you blow, the Wind Breaker instantly amplifies your breath into a strong gust of wind — and the sail-like surface catches that wind the same way a windbreaker jacket puffs up in a strong breeze. The machine uses that “sail effect” to lift you smoothly into the air.
You can hover, glide, drift sideways, or gently float back down depending on how hard you blow and how you shift your weight. People use it for fun, adventure, or quick short-distance travel.
The Wind Breaker was invented by Angie Cleverton after people kept begging her, “Make us fly!” At first, she imagined a huge, complicated machine — but then she thought about something simple: the way a windbreaker jacket balloons out when the wind hits it.
Angie realized that if wind could push fabric that easily, a machine could do the same thing on purpose. She built a device that didn’t just blast air upward, but used a sail-like surface to catch and redirect that wind, just like a puffed-up jacket.
After weeks of testing, she stood on the platform, blew into the machine, watched the sail catch the gust — and lifted smoothly into the sky. From that moment on, the Wind Breaker made human flight possible using the same idea as a billowing windbreaker.
